Are you The Food indystry Buyer that The Job Store is loking for?
Under the responsibility of the Purchasing Director, you will deal with all matters related to project purchasing and production purchasing, for all the Group’s sites.
In addition to this role of group category purchasing, you will be the 1st point of contact for Purchasing at the Waregem (BE) & Weert (NL) plant.
Your mission will be to negotiate and select the raw materials, packaging materials and services necessary for the company’s production, according to volume, cost and quality objectives. As such, you will be responsible for analysing the market and defining the company’s raw material needs. You will collect the various needs of the factories in advance.
You will select products and suppliers by participating in the analysis of the supplier market and the qualification of these through audits. And you’ll manage the commercial negotiation and the final budget by drafting contracts, following up and communicating the procurement plan.

- English & Dutch is essential. (French optional)
- Travel to be expected. (2 times / Month)
- CSR Skills/experience in carbon footprint reduction will be appreciated because of B-CORP Certified client.
- As markets are more and more volatile, proven experience on futures market will be a must.
- The personality of the candidate will make all the difference, we are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic profile, passionate about his or her job, with a strong positive energy and a deep respect for our values.
- As a man or woman in the field, you have a real sense of listening, you know how to work in a team, and organization is your strong point.
- With a higher education, you have significant experience in the agri-food or industrial world, ideally. Your negotiation skills and your ability to effectively manage your files will be the keys to your success in this position.
