R&D Project engineer – new materials, to develop and produce the most advanced ceramic metallic powder materials in the broad sense of composites. You’ll use your aerospace project management expertise to develop and manufacture new aerospace components, within molding, additive manufacturing or any relevant process. Your expertise in the research of such materials will be held in a state-of-the-art environment with the most advanced equipment. Your main objectives are -Take the project lead for the development of customer applications -Research, Develop, Design new geometries with CAD and digital twin simulation tools -Design tools and follow-up the global production process till prototype validation -Work within and EN9100 environment with 100% aerospace traceability and engagement rules -Quote and monitor project cost of cleanroom and powder metallurgy projects -Engage with operations and quality team to develop and industrialize the manufacturing process -Maintain and support operations team on the infrastructure for the project environment
Your profile Proven track record of project management Engineer/Technician with relevant expertise in powder metallurgy Relevant knowledge of aerospace manufacturing Technical and commercial mindset with presentations skills towards customers and stakeholders Expertise in industrial process, molding, additive manufacturing is a strong asset Knowledge of heat treatment and powder materials Fluent English, French and/or Dutch
